GRO-FAITH Ministries was
formed in 1997, and is an outgrowth of GRAMS of FAITH, a monthly
newsletter, and another publication, the GRAMS of FAITH
Inspirational Calendar. As a new book was about to make its
debut (GRAMS of FAITH—Inspirational Poetry), it was necessary to
create an overall name for all publications, and thus, GRO-FAITH
Ministries was established with a goal of “publishing the
positive.”
Now referred to as a magazine, the monthly publication was
developed in July 1980, and the first (four-page) issue was
introduced the very next month. It has now grown to 28 pages and
continues to tell of God’s goodness as it features church
events, community notes, family news, business ventures, and
more. It also highlights the gifts and talents of
others—writers, poets, artists—and often includes articles
written by specialists in different fields. On a few occasions,
readers have been able to renew friendships, after having
recognized the name or photograph of a long-lost acquaintance in
a feature article or on the list of supporters!
The magazine also includes ads on a space-available basis (for a
small contribution), and is available on a subscription basis.
